Pond Opening
Thank you so much to our amazing WPS families for joining us at the pond opening. It was amazing to see so many people there. Colleen and Steve, from East Midlands Eco Gardening Fund, were very impressed with the wildlife area we have created. It was also great to have Matt and Brad back, who completed the works, to see the final outcome. The children are so excited to see our frog spawn!!!! Looking forward to frogs in the summer term!

UPDATE - Thank you to our wonderful WPS families for their harvest donations - Swadlincote Foodbank were extremely thankful.
Trees
Thank you so much to Jack from Taylor - Day Tree Services.
The team were in school completing work and the school council asked if they would be able to cut back some of the trees surrounding the pond area.
We explained to Jack that our budget was tight to get the pond area finished and he agreed to complete the work free of charge!
It has made such a difference and now the light will reach our pond area to attract wildlife and plant growth.
We said a huge thank you!
