This week was our first African drumming session with Clare. We are going to be learning to play the djembe drum. We enjoyed watching some videos of African drumming and looked on a map at where Africa is. We also enjoyed watching Clare play her djembe drum. We are waiting for our drums to arrive, so this week we used cups to create different patterns and learn the rhythms that we will need. We can't wait to get started!
