We had another fantastic geography lesson this week and even got to take advantage of the British sunshine! We started our lesson with a retrieval game which has really helped the children recall their previous knowledge. After that, we learnt about the differences between active, dormant and extinct volcanoes and then had great fun participating in a volcano relay race!! In group, the children had to decide if the volcano was active, dormant or extinct by using the date of its most recent eruption! There were a few surprises but the groups did a great job!
